11. Motherly Love ‘Nuff said. Love my Thuglee.
12. Check Up—A screenshot, not a ‘photo’ but need I say more? SUMMER is here.
13. Activity—That little rose bush twig that I threaten to yank every year because it hasn’t thrived and is totally in the way always redeems itself with roses that remind me of Daddy Gus’s garden. (HIS red roses were rambling and prolific and nothing like this sad twig.)
14. Health… Tell me you didn’t just close your eyes and sniff deeply? Be honest. That is two senses that are working well, sight and smell!
15. Relaxing. Because Batman.
16. Self Discipline –Things you can’t believe you are saying UNTIL you are dealing with a toddler …”Don’t bite the cats tail again.” (Thankfully it wasn’t OUR cat who scratched her neck!) and if you ask where she got the scratch she says, in a very matter of fact tone, “I bit Bert’s tail.” I recall reading once that 90% of disciplining toddlers is not laughing.
17. Growth This azalea must have heard about my plans to yank it a few years ago, because it had sat, basically stunted, giving a half-hearted attempt at flowering and no effort put into filling the space I had for it. But as I am slow to act upon these decisions (read—lazy) it stayed put. Two years ago, it bloomed. In AUGUST. And since then it has become a thing of beauty, rambling, wild, with very large flowers that bloom three weeks later than other azaleas.

16. Cheers SOMEONE is a happy morning person! (the hoodie stayed on for HOURS)
17. A Shamrock—Ok, not really. But St. Patrick’s Day nails, and my lovely green sweater. But mostly, my Claddagh rings! My first gift from my husband is the silver Claddagh, and my wedding band is Claddaghs as well!
18. Duplicate—and more of these very uhm, interesting leggings. I know EXACTLY who would love them, though—Lula!!!!
19. 365 Page number in one of my all-time favorite books.
20. Diptych—technically no, it’s not. But it’s a really cute selfie, so I’m letting it pass! Laylabug climbed onto my back that night and silliness ensued.
21. Spring? This poor Daffy! Since Mid February It’s had alternating 80 degree days, snow days, rain days, and now a crisp coating of ice! I checked on it the next day, and after defrosting, it was like new!!
22. On Their Terms—I love how beech trees hold onto their leaves through the winter. They do autumn on their terms, and refuse to drop their leaves, adding interest to winter roadsides.

With a little creative license on both calendar and definition, I managed to hit all 7 prompts this week!

9. Emerging—Taste preference and experiences. Laylabug said no to “Brubreeies” but then decided she DID like them!
10. Asymmetrical—Words With Friends, my typical just-before-bed routine…. And this WOULD have been my IRISH photo prompt, except I found something else. (Ok, Technically not a Photo, either. But how often can you spell SLÁINTE on WWF??)
11. From Down Under—Daffy Days, shot from below.
12. Arranged my scraps—I’ve been quilting for over 15 years and have never done a Log Cabin.
13. Irish—It’s easy being Green! LOVE shopping at GW.
14. Mark the Spot—a Nice center-focused daffy.
15. Hard –to believe Laylabug is already 2 1/2 years old!
