With a little creative license on both calendar and definition, I managed to hit all 7 prompts this week!

9. Emerging—Taste preference and experiences. Laylabug said no to “Brubreeies” but then decided she DID like them!
10. Asymmetrical—Words With Friends, my typical just-before-bed routine…. And this WOULD have been my IRISH photo prompt, except I found something else. (Ok, Technically not a Photo, either. But how often can you spell SLÁINTE on WWF??)
11. From Down Under—Daffy Days, shot from below.
12. Arranged my scraps—I’ve been quilting for over 15 years and have never done a Log Cabin.
13. Irish—It’s easy being Green! LOVE shopping at GW.
14. Mark the Spot—a Nice center-focused daffy.
15. Hard –to believe Laylabug is already 2 1/2 years old!

2. Cat in the Hat—Well, ok, a Laylabug in a hat.
3. Choose a Favorite. Daffy’s just won’t let a deep freeze and a snow storm stop them! The day AFTER they felt like delicate ice sculptures.

4. Party!—Seagulls gathering for a good time!
6. Your Muse—My muse is actually named Twitchy, and she is a purple haired doll I made. But what makes me want to take photos would be scenes like this!

Photos of the week, Week ending 3/1/14

Huh? MARCH already?
That means SPRING! will be here soon! St Patrick’s Day parades start as early as today (my unofficial harbinger of spring, standing on the side of Forest Avenue, Staten Island, during the parade, even if a blizzard shows up the following day) Of course, I wasn’t there; I’m in Virginia now (and only a short way from the beach currently….)

23. Crowded Around—Baby Beluga, Gigi and Layla are gathered around the TV to watch the Olympics Closing Ceremonies.
24. Predictable—Some cats are just drawn bad.
25. Bittersweet This birdbath has rusted, but the patina makes me smile.
26. Admire (the tenacity of Neko….he WANTS to play with Tatiana!)
27. Seize The Moment (or, one of the fringe benefits of working odd shifts.)
28. Keep Going—I was driving to the quilt show yesterday, and rather than ‘keep going’ I pulled off when I saw this wonderful old building.
