Something old, something new…. Christmas decor always gets tweaked as new lovelies come into my life…
This advent calendar called my name until it came home with me. It pairs well with a redware plate made by an old neighbor, Steve Nutt. It dates at least sometime in the late 80’s. (I have a cat on my lap; I am unable to look at the year). I can’t say I saw him throw this particular plate, but I can still see the sunlight and shadow of his pottery shed.
And all of the cards that arrive day after day, bringing memories and merry thoughts…..
