And introducing our newest bundle of joy, Roxy Fluffernutter. (#Roxyfluffernutter on #Instagram) She has been entertain us these last few weeks! Wondering if we dare put up a tree; I am recovering from thumb surgery and do most of the decorating, and she is ‘curious’ 😉

I shoot a lot. I do a photo a day challenge; I have always tried to have my camera with me at all times. This has been made easier with the iPhone–I ALWAYS have a camera now! I started to look at the photos I took over the course of 2015….These are almost all chosen from my photo a day.

These are the 12 photos I liked best last year..of the almost 9k photos on Lightroom from 2015… I have chosen one a month as my favorite….(Yikes. There are a LOT of photos that need to be deleted!) ETA:  WHICH is YOUR favorite, and WHY?? I would LOVE to hear your thoughts!!

Christmas Photo A Day, 12/26/15

Santa was kicked to the curb!

I am not a fan of the mad rush up to the 25th, with a full screeching stop for one day, and then the determination to denude the house of any sign that Christmas happened before the next trash pick-up.

I celebrate the 12 days of Christmas AFTER Christmas, as is traditional, and not how retailers have decided it was meant to be BEFORE Christmas.

So, as long as all Christmas is packed and away by Valentines Day, I feel I am doing good! The tree stays up till the Epiphany. And it is usually far longer before it gets taken down, to be honest! I want to enjoy the holiday season, not rush to the next big thing…
