1. I Heart… this Laylabug! Helping Gigi match socks.

5. My View –as I came out of work was this gorgeous full moon. But all I had was my phone. Can you guess which blurry blob is the moon? (Of course I had to go home and pull out the dSLR!)
6. Mini-figures—These little garden statues live on our headboard.

For the first time this year, I reached back into the archives for a photo, and also borrowed a photo from someone else. My brother’s dog Lou died; he sent me this selfie with him. The portrait of Lou I took in 2008.

25. Resolve (two-fer!) I resolved to accomplish some quilting this weekend! And I did get a good deal done, on this and other things, and I only sewed through my finger once…. Then, Laylablug resolved to MAKE the pancakes for dinner….

27. Nourishing Hot tomato soup for lunch at work on a cold day.
28. Play But, not really … Détente is more like it….determination to be with me is stronger; the outstretched paw is a bit rude…
29. Tethered Since my keys keep trying to escape me in the morning, I am back to tethering my keys to my pocket book…
30. Commitment This has been sitting on the back of the toilet for a while now….
31. One Done (technically NOT finished, but out of my HEAD at least!!!)

18. Balance—I think that Glinda has been turned into Rapunzel and she is in a tower…
19. Space—It was a glorious day!
20. Trio—Totally uninspired today and had a headache at work. So as I sat on the couch watching television, thinking about what I was going to do for my photo, I was scrolling through these work photos I took today. Very often, when I have a difficult piece at work, I will take photographs for reference or for proof. This specific time was for proof for a customer who disagreed that her art was in the condition that it was.
21. Meal or Play? —I am in my studio, packing for a 2 day quilt retreat. I have an untold number of UFOs, (and embarrassment of riches as far as needles go.) So why am I trying to figure out what new project to do while at retreat? Oh, PLAY! Although, I do joke that retreat is really an excuse to get together and make lots of tasty meals for each other, interrupted by long stretches of sewing…

23. On the Third—(I braked far from the car in front of me when the light turned red and turned on phone while waiting for the light to turn green; I snapped photo and put phone down before driving ) I feel like this needs to have “Don’t try this at home” scrolled over it!!
