There is nothing as precious as reading to your grandchild.
Do you recall being read to as a child? I do. I can feel Daddy Gus’s lap, and the warmth of his arms around me as we sat in the chair in the living room. I don’t recall the book (although my favorite book as a very young child was Pickles the Fire Cat)… but I can remember the feeling of love.

Christmas Photo A Day, Starting NOW
Welcome to December 1, 2015! I am glad to be back for my 8th year of Christmas Photo A Day! (#CPAD) I started this in reaction to retail induced holiday burnout, and it is now a tradition I love.
Do you want to build a snowman?
We traveled to the Grand Canyon at the end of February, and discovered little snowmen built in a variety of scenic locations. This guy is starting to feel the heat, I think.
