We used to live across the street from a master potter. His daughter and mine were fast friends, and I knew I could find Arlie wandering among the air drying clay laid out in the side yard, or back in the shed where the kiln was with Molly and Steve. One summer day, Steve had the girls make these Christmas ornaments and he let them glaze them, and fired them …a wonderful Christmas gift and memory, all these years later!
